Berlusconi Day: Forza Italia si riunisce a Paestum per celebrare il Cavaliere Meloni: “Un leader instancabile”.
Forza Italia celebrates Silvio Berlusconi today on what would have been his 87th birthday with the Berlusconi Day, a three-day event that opens today in Paestum. Social media is already filled with well wishes and memories on this occasion. Starting with the premier Giorgia Meloni, who wrote: “Today would have been the birthday of a great fighter, a friend, an ally, and a tireless leader for our nation. Best wishes from all of us, Silvio!” The leader of the League, Matteo Salvini, was more concise, simply writing alongside a picture of him with Berlusconi: “Happy birthday Silvio, we miss you.” The deputy prime minister and heir to the leadership of Forza Italia, Antonio Tajani, also couldn’t miss the opportunity to remember Berlusconi, saying: “In his memory, a look towards a future of freedom. President, happy birthday to you, watching over us from above!”
More poetic was Licia Ronzulli, the leader of Forza Italia in the Senate, who shared some pictures with the late leader and wrote: “We took these photos on September 29th of last year. I never would have thought it would be the last. He was happy that evening. His radiant face,” she wrote on Instagram. From Milan, where he attended the ceremony to dedicate the Belvedere of Lombardy Region to the former prime minister, Paolo Berlusconi, the Cav’s brother, spoke: “Silvio is in history,” he said, recalling how even in the last days before his death, the founder “was still involved with Forza Italia, his most beautiful and final adventure, to which as a family we owe respect and love, as well as the support that will not be lacking.”
