Demet Özdemir a Venezia 2023: il look al Premio Kinéo

Demet Özdemir was in attendance at the 2023 Venice Film Festival to receive the Kinéo Award, a prestigious recognition for her diverse career. In recent years, the Turkish actress has portrayed many female characters on the small screen, and she shone on the red carpet wearing Chopard jewelry.

There were so many celebrities on the red carpet at the 80th edition of the Venice Film Festival, and Demet Özdemir, a well-known actress to the Italian public, graced the event with her presence. Her ultra-glam looks left a lasting impression. But why did the Turkish actress attend the event? The answer is rather simple.

Arriving at the Lido in stunning form, Demet Özdemir was prepared to receive an important award for her career. She was awarded the Kinéo Award for Best International Actress, a precious and well-deserved recognition considering that her name has accompanied Turkish entertainment in Italy in recent years. The audience of Canale 5 will especially remember her from DayDreamer – The Wings of Dreams, where she shared the screen with Can Yaman. She also appeared in La ragazza e l’ufficiale, aired this summer on Canale 5, as well as in My Home My Destiny. Furthermore, thanks to Netflix, Demet Özdemir has become the protagonist of a romcom titled Love Tactics, the sequel of which was recently released on the platform. She has also acted in a web series called Act of Infidelity, available on Disney+.

Welcomed by an army of devoted fans in Venice, Demet Özdemir did not disappoint. Her arrival at the Lido featured a casual chic look that went viral on social media. Captured by her fans as well as the photographers on site, the actress from My Home My Destiny set foot in the Lagoon wearing a maxi skirt with a deep side slit and adorned with floral decorations, the highlight of the look, designed by Valentino. In addition, she chose a bandeau crop top topped with a total black Loewe blazer. The shining point is provided by the Chopard jewelry that completes the look.

The red carpet, on the other hand, called for Dolce&Gabbana. The Turkish actress showcased a strapless velvet gown, with a rigid bodice in line with the gloves and stiletto sandals. Once again, she paired the outfit with a set of diamond-studded jewelry, from the elegant necklace to the Chopard earrings. To enhance everything she wore, Demet Özdemir opted for a braided bun hairstyle with her long hair. As for makeup, she went for a dramatic eyeliner look.

Upon her arrival in Venice for the Kinéo Award, the actress participated in a press conference, expressing her excitement: “Perhaps my voice may sound strange to you now. It’s my first time in Venice. I have portrayed many strong women in the last five years, and being here today, with so many talented women who have so much success and are recognized and awarded for it, makes me proud. Thank you very much.”
