Equita annuncia Stefano Donnarumma come nuovo senior advisor.
Equita, the leading independent Italian investment bank, has announced that Stefano Donnarumma will be joining them as a senior advisor. The bank emphasizes that Donnarumma’s role will be to support the management team in developing initiatives to drive the Group’s growth in various business areas.
With over 30 years of experience and a strong background in industrial operations at major international companies such as Alstom and Bombardier, Donnarumma has built an excellent professional career in the infrastructure and energy asset sectors. He initially served as the Director of Operations at Acea, A2a, and Aeroporti di Roma, and later became the Chief Executive Officer of the listed companies Acea and Terna.
“I would like to thank Stefano Donnarumma for deciding to join the Group’s advisory board and contribute to our growth project,” says Andrea Vismara, CEO of Equita. “As a senior advisor, he will be an important professional figure in various respects, both in alternative asset management and investment banking.”
“I am very pleased with this partnership because Equita and its professionals share my strategic vision for the energy transition, in which I have been actively involved in Italy and the broader Mediterranean region,” comments Stefano Donnarumma, senior advisor at Equita. “I am convinced that the needs of the capital market and the Italian energy industry can find the right stimulus and support in Equita’s initiatives for the construction of a more sustainable future. I will contribute with great motivation to the projects we will identify together with Equita’s team, with whom I fully identify considering their professionalism, reputation, and shared values, which I have observed in Andrea Vismara and the other managers of this prestigious Group.”
Donnarumma will play a key role in the development of the new asset class announced by Equita on June 21, 2023, targeting the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. With his knowledge of energy and green issues, both in Italy and abroad, he will support the Egif team in launching the Equita Green Impact Fund and assist in fundraising activities with institutional investors. In addition, he will serve as an advisor to the investment committee of Egif, tasked with identifying new investment opportunities for the fund.
